I am a Senior Lecturer and Department Chair in the Department of English Linguistics at the University of Debrecen in Debrecen, Hungary.

My main research areas lie in lexical semantics, argument structure and the syntax and semantics of event structure. Although I focus on Hungarian in my research, I am also interested in cross-linguistic aspects of various event structural and argument structural phenomena. My work has appeared in journals such as Glossa: a Journal of General LinguisticsActa Linguistica Academica, the Journal of Linguistics and Magyar Nyelv. I have also recently written a chapter in Általános Nyelvészeti Tanulmányok 35.

In my free time, I like to spend time at Lake Balaton bike riding, reading and swimming. I also like to travel the world.
